Crafty Street Eats Catering services the Hunter region and surrounds to bring you delicious, freshly prepared dishes. Available for corporate events, weddings and more, our pop-up food trucks and chef-prepared catering can bring flavour, fun and fresh ingredients to your next event.

Owner / Operator Dave Gregor has been working in commercial kitchens since he was 15 years old starting his apprenticeship in Sydney, working in several pubs across Paddington as Executive Chef. After many years in Sydney, Dave moved to the Hunter region and continued his career as Head Chef in many well known Restaurants and Clubs all over Newcastle, Port Stephens and the Hunter Valley from casual to fine dining.

A local Newcastle family business with over 30 years of experience working within the hospitality industry, we know what works and pride ourselves on delivering customised selections for every occasion. 

You may have spotted us serving up our signature dishes at large music concerts and events.

Whether you’re looking to feed 30 or 300, there’s no cap limit on the amount of people we can serve; we’re ready to cater to groups big and small. 

Overall, our main goal is to deliver great, natural food at a reasonable price. With qualified chefs and front of house experts waiting in the wings, we’re ready to help make your next event a hit.

Terms and Conditions

Upon payment of your deposit, your event will then be confirmed, we do not hold dates prior to deposit.

Please note that deposits are non-refundable.

Full payment must be made 7 days prior to the event.

We require power and water on request at events. If we require a site inspection prior to your function, only then will we confirm that the van will be able to attend your event.

We do have alternate marquee setup and in the event of bad weather, we may require some internal space on site for service.

The Crafty Van dimensions are 5m long x 2.9 m wide x 2.5 meters high. All setup must be on private property, as per council requirement. 

We will require contact information and site addresses on booking.
